What are good mannners?

Dear children,

I do hope that you learn something from the book, Manners. What exactly are good manners?

Show good manners by :

- writing a thank-you note when your friend brings you a gift to your party

- chewing with your mouth closed and not talking with your mouth full

- using your napkin to wipe messy fingers

- answering the phone politely

- greeting your friend's parents when you arrive at his/her place and saying 'goodbye' and 'thank-you' when you leave

When you show good manners, people know you care about them and not just about yourself.

Therefore, I hope that all of you will be able to show good manners to people around you.

Lots of love,

Miss Lau
