Competiton

Dear beloved children,

Next week is the Clean and Green week. As such, there will be games booths put up near the canteen. There are plenty of prizes awaiting for you to win.

Next week, we are going to do some craft items using recycled materials.

Primary 2s: Pupils are required to make a pen / pencil holder using toilet rolls and the cardboard backing from the foolscap paper pad. They are free to design the pen / pencil holder with themes of Reduce, Reuse or Recycle according to their creativity.

Prizes will be given to every class for the top few entries.

The craft items made by all of you will be sold to the public at the Recycling Day Carnival on the 15th Nov (Sat) at Jurong East Street 21.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to a charity as deemed fit by Mr. Teo and Mrs. Ng.

I hereby encourage all of you to participate actively in the activities to do our bit for charity.

Thank you.

Lots of love,
Miss Lau

P2 Recycling

Hello children,

Do you remember the recycling project that we had in Term 2? I am delighted to inform you that we are having the recycling project again this term!

Starting from Monday, 18th August 2008, please bring recycled papers such as old magazines, newspapers etc to school. We will be collecting the recycling items for about 2 weeks before we sell them to the Karang Guni man.

Do play your part as a responsible citizen/pupil and bring old newspapers to school for recycling!

Thanks.

Love,

Miss Lau
