Happy Children's Day message

Dear beloved darlings,

I did not manage to submit my Children's Day dedication to the person -in-charge. But its alright. I will write my dedication here.

I have been with all of you for almost 2 years. I really enjoyed teaching all of you. Though sometimes you bring me heartaches but at times you really bring me laughter and joy and also make me feel so proud of you!

Like this year, we managed to clinch 1st prize in World Maths Day and 2nd prize in Lower Primary Sports Day. All of you just bring a big smile to me face.

I may appear aloof and stern at times but at the end of each day, I always love you!

Those endless reprimands and homework are not out to torture you but to strengthen you in your concepts so as to prepare you for your examinations which benefits you in the rest of your life.

Next year, all of you will be going to different classes and I might not be teaching you but I will always remember you deeply in my heart. All the wonderful memories during these 2 years will be deeply etched in my mind. All the photographs that we always take together in class will enable me to look back and reminisce the good golden days.

I love you, 2B!

All the best in your coming examinations. Remember you can do it if you believe in yourself.

Have a Happy Children's Day!

Lots of love,
Miss Lau

Exam matters

Dear parents,

Please prepare your kids for the imminent examinations.

They will be tested on 2A and 2B for the subjects.

English matters:
Do take note that the composition writing exam is not together with the main paper. The children are supposed to write a story in 40 minutes.

Maths matters:
Do advise your kids to do workings for the sums even MCQ.

Do enforce backward checking with the kids.

Advise them to check over and over their papers once they have finished.

Remind them not to leave any questions empty. Give it a try even if they have no clue how to go about doing it.

Remind them to write number statements for problem sums and do their workings in the column. Method marks are awarded if they have careless mistakes but method is correct in problem sums.

Thank you for helping me out
Regards,
Miss Lau

Proper usuage of shoutout

Dear beloved children,

Please use the shoutbox properly. Do not use it as a mean to scold your friends.

Do not use unkind words on others. Remember that if you do not want people to use unkind words on you, please do not do it to others. What goes around comes around.

Out from a kind heart comes kind words.

Please be kind to others so that the society will be a wonderful place to live in.

In the spirit of care and graciousness, please take part in this meaningful event. Beside having fun and displaying their creativity, all of you are also helping the less fortunate members of our society.
