Free performances at Esplanade

Dear parents and beloved pupils,

Below is a list of free performances at Esplanade for the children.

1) Mouse and Cookie
By The Players Theatre
1, 4 and 5 October 2008 , 3.15p.m. - 3.45 p.m., Esplanade Concourse

Join in the fun as Boy finds himself figure skating on scrub brushes, wrestling boa constrictors and climbing mountains when an innocent milk-and-cookie snack time goes from mishap to calamity to catastrophe faster than the twitch of a whisker!

2) The Lion and the Mouse
By IQKidz Performing Team
1, 4 and 5 October 2008, 4.15 p.m. - 4.45p.m. , Esplanade Concourse

Can a tiny mouse help a mighty lion escape from a trap? Discover through this interactive storytelling session!

3) The 108th sheep

1, 4 and 5 October 2008, 5.15p.m. - 5.45p.m., Esplanade Concourse

Emma loves to sleep but just tonight, she cannot sleep a wink and she does not know why. Thus she decides to count sheep to help her fall asleep. One by one, the sheep jumps over the bed and Emma counts them until she discovers that the 108th sheep is stuck! Luckily, Emma gas a plan to save the night!


4) Artsylum Quartet

5)Reading Rocks
4 and 5 October 2008, 3p.m. - 3.45p.m., Library @ Esplanade

Listen to Junior Reading Ambassadors share their love for reading with you. They are children who love to read and have been groomed by the NLB to tell stories, promote books and library services and even share tips on selecting good books.
